This is the stitch of sewing the paw on the body
Mounting
Finally, all the parts are ready and we can proceed with assembling the duckling.
Sew the beak, giving it the shape of a triangle. I am not fill the spout, you can fill a little if you like. side 1 aumreases is the top of the beak.
Sew it so that the part nozzle top stay between rounds 7 and 8 of the head.
Choose the location of the eyes. correct them between rounds 7 and 8 with a difference of 7 bp between them.
Sew the eyes, jumping at the same time to shape the cheeks of the ducklings. Use strong cotton thread or dental floss to shave.
Place the needle in the center of the base of the neck (about 3 turns below the beak) (figure 1) and exit at the left point of the eye (figure 2).
Shake the eye cord, enter the same stitch again and leave 1 sc to the right from the starting point (the base of the head) (figure 3).
Pull the thread to the desired depth, make multiple knots, hide spikes inside the head or body. Insert the needle to sew the right eye at the same point you inserted the left eye and release 1 sc to the left (figure 4, 5)
If you used safety eyes, pulse as follows: insert the needle into the center of the base of the neck (about 3 turns below of the beak), exit at the point of the left eye. Come back on the other side of the eye so that the wire is over it. Leave 1 sc to the right from the stitc starting point (the base of the head). Pull the wires to the depth desired, the thread above the eye must “hide” behind it, make
several nodes, hide the tails inside the head or body. enter the needle for the right eye at the same point you inserted for the eye left, leave 1 sc to the left.
Embroider the lower eyelid with a thin white line. Embroider the upper eyelid with a thin black line (I used Gazzal Baby Cotton).
Embroider the edges with thin black thread (I used Gazzal Baby Cotton).
Use the button joint so that the wings are articulated.
you will need a long needle, 2 buttons and strong thread.
Insert the needle into the left wing stitch and come out the other side of the body (do it symmetrically).
Shake the wing and button (from bottom to top). Insert the needle into back on body 1 sc higher. Get out on the other side of the body 1 sc above from the starting point. Shake the second wing and button (from bottom to top).
If you like the location of the wings, pull both ends of the line, make several knots and hide them inside the body.
Sew the legs, following the instructions in the photo
Flower
The flower can be tied to a duckling’s head or neck.
28 corr, leave at the beginning of the crochet the end of the yarn with about 4 cm of length
2 dc in 4th stitch, (1 ch, skip 1 ch, 3 dc in same race)
– repeat until the end of the line, turn 3.(2 ch, 1dc, 2dc in the same en, 1pa, 2 corr, 1pb under the
corr from the previous line) – repeat until end of line
Cut the thread and secure leaving a long tail to sew.
Roll into a flower shape. use a thread needle to sew the flower on back part. tie the ends of the wires in 2 knots.
Make a chain 20-22 cm long. Cut the thread.
The flower is ready, shrink your duckling with it.
We finished crocheting in the Yellow Duckling! I hope the process and the result pleased you and you revert to that pattern again and again!
