The word Amigurumi comes from Japanese. The Japanese call handicrafts knitted with crochet and needle as Ami. The Japanese call the toys that are filled with objects such as fibers or cotton as Nuigurumi. The word Amigurumi is derived as a combination of these two words.

I want to give you some informations about this pattern;

You will need:
four
 Yarn Alize Cotton Gold Hobby yellow
colors (code 187) basic.
 Yarn Alize Bahar brown (code 179)
for beak and legs;
 Cherry YarnArt Jeans yarn
(code 66) for scallop;
 Eyes on the safety mount or
some black yarn (floss thread)
for embroidery;
 Your favorite hook 2.0 mm;
Knitting needle for sewing
details and face embroidery;
 Any filler of your choice (I
I use holofiber or synthetic fluff,
what is available);
 M a r c e r d l i o m e t k i pet l
(desirable!), if it is not there – not scary,
you can mark the end of the row with a thread
contrasting color;
 Scissors;
 Inspiration and a couple of cups of hot
coffee, tea or cocoa of your choice =)

Abbreviations:

 sbn – stoblik without crochet;
 KA – amigurumi ring or sliding

Head and body:

We knit the head with yellow yarn:
Row 1: 6 sbn in spacecraft [6]
Row 2: 6 pr [12]
Row 3: (1 sbn, 1 pr) * 6 [18]
Row 4: (2 sc, 1 pr) * 6 [24]
Rows 5-9: 24 sc [24]
The head is ready (see photo 1), but the thread is not

the body of our Chicken.
Body
We collect a chain of 3 VP, in the second

Row 9-10: 30 PRS [30]
Stuff your head tightly as you knit
and body filler.
Row 11: (3 SBN, 1 UB) * 6 [24]
Row 12: (2 SBN, 1 UB) * 6 [18]
Row 13: (1 SBN, 1 UB) * 6 [12]
Row 14: 6 ub [6]
Fill the part tightly with filler,
take care of it, tighten it up

Wings:

We knit with yellow yarn:
Row 1: 6 sbn in spacecraft [6]
Row 2: 6 pr [12]
Row 3: (1 sbn, 1 pr) * 6 [18]
Row 4: 18 sbn [18]
Fold the wing in half (see photo 1)
and knit 9 sc through both halves
(see photo 2). Then do vp,
flip knitting and continue
(see photo 3):
Row 5: (3 sbn in one base, 2 ss) * 3.
Cut the thread, leaving a tail for
sewing the wing to the body.

Legs:
four

We collect a chain of 10 VP, starting with
make the second loop from the hook 3 cc (for
polu pethl i), then take 3 in p
(see photo 1).
Do 2 ss in a chain and one in the center
between two fingers (see photo
one).
Dial 2 VP again, knit 1 cc in
the second half loop from the hook and 1 ss in center (see photo 2,3).
Now knit 6 cc on the chain,
which is typed kb at the beginning (see
photo 3).
The leg needs to be straightened a little
fingers, giving it the necessary
shape – the leg is ready.
We knit the second leg in the same way =)

Beak and tail:

The chick’s beak consists of two
parts that are knitted and sewn
separately.

Tail
The tail consists of two feathers,
which fit according to the scheme:
We collect a chain of 5 VP, in the second
we knit a loop from the hook: 1 pr, 1 sbn, 2 ss

Then knit 4 more cc (see

The ponytail is ready!

Scallop:

In order to make a scallop, we
need a needle and a piece of yarn
cherry (or other red)
colors.
We will embroider it like
French knot, the scallop will
consist of 3 elements.
For start
the location of your parts (see
photo 1). Insert the needle as shown in
photo 1 and 10 times wrap it with yarn
(see photo 2). Then gently
pull the needle through the wound
loops and insert it into the place where on
photo 2 end of the needle.
Do the same while embroidering.
the remaining 2 parts of the scallop.

We collect:
four
Sew the wings in the area of the 5th row
body as shown in photo 1.
Sew the tail to the 3rd row of the body (in
the area of the chain from VP (see photo 2).
Sew the legs symmetrically from two
s to r about n in n and s t e l and in r and about n e
the penultimate row.
Sew on the upper part of the beak
between the 7th and 8th rows of the head, and the lower
part under it between 8 and 9 rows
(see photo 3).
With a needle and black yarn
(thread mule), embroider the chicken
eyes.

So we tied our Chicken!
