Use white yarn
We are going to knit the muzzle in rows and not in the round.
We are not going to make decreases, but we are going to skip the stitches as indicated in the pattern. I tried both ways and, for my taste, this way the final result looked more beautiful.

H1-2: 1 single crochet in each stitch (10)

H5: Without chainstitching at the end of H4, turn the piece and skip a stitch at the beginning. Do 3 sc and skip another stitch. Work 1 sc in the last stitch (4)
Now, to make the snout of the amigurumi more beautiful, we are going to make single crochets around it. Make a single crochet in each stitch and an increase in each corner so that the piece does not curve.

Use white yarn
V1: Make a 6 sc magic ring
Round 2: 1 sc in each stitch

Its vest details
For the neck
Use dark green thread
Chain 7 and sew them around the white part of the vest, indicated by the black lines in the photo below.
Edge of the vest (where the buttons go)
Use green yarn
H1: Chain 7
H2: skip the first chain, 1 sc in the rest of the chains until the end (6)
Sew the piece to the amigurumi vest, guiding you by the pink lines in the photo below.
Buttons
Cut two circles out of white felt and glue them to the green strip on the edge of the vest.
Ribbon
Cut a piece of red yarn and make a bow. Glue it under the neck of the amigurumi, centered on the white part (use the photos for reference)
Face details
Sew the muzzle to its face.
Mouth
The mouth is made with black embroidery thread. Embroider a V with this thread.
Nose
Use felt for the nose and glue it with fabric glue.
Eyes
The eyes are made of felt. I have drawn them on paper before cutting them out on felt. I have cut the shape out of paper and put it on the felt to cut out the eyes as closely as possible.
Use an image of it like the one below for reference to draw the eyes.
Platform for the amigurumi
For Canela to support herself without the need to lean on anything, I decided to make a crochet and cardboard platform.
First I cut 3 circles from thin cardboard and glued them by putting a glass on top so that they would stick well.
- Next I wove a circle in green:
R1: 6 sc magic ring
V2: 1 increase in each point
Rnd3: (1 sc, 1 inc) repeat until the end of the round
Rnd 4: (2 sc, 1 inc) repeat until the round is finished
Rnd5: (3 sc, 1 inc) repeat until the end of the round
Rnd 6: (4 sc, 1 inc) repeat until the end of the round
Rnd7: (5 sc, 1 inc) repeat until the end of the round
Rnd 8: (6 sc, 1 inc) repeat until the end of the round
Rnd9: (7 sc, 1 inc) repeat until the end of the round
Round 10: (8 sc, 1 inc) repeat until the end of the round
Rnd11: (9 sc, 1 inc) repeat until the end of the round
Round 12: (work only taking the back loop of the stitch) 1 sc in each stitch
- Here I put the cardboard circles that had already been glued while I was knitting the above and I glued them so that it was totally fixed and flat.
- When they are glued we are going to cut a piece of wire and we are going to give it a U shape. We nail the wire in the cardboard as centrally as possible. In those wires that now protrude through our crochet platform we will click the legs of the Canela amigurumi. Measure well the distance between the center of one leg to the center of the other. The vertical part of the wire should reach a little above the skirt.
Once this is done, continue knitting like this:
Round 13: (work only taking the back loop of the stitch) 1 sc in each stitch
Rnd14: (9 sc, 1 inc) repeat until the end of the round
Rnd15: (8 sc, 1 inc) repeat until the end of the round
Rnd16: (7 sc, 1 inc) repeat until the end of the round
Rnd17: (6 sc, 1 inc) repeat until the end of the round
Rnd18: (5 sc, 1 inc) repeat until the end of the round
Rnd19: (4 sc, 1 inc) repeat until the round is finished
Rnd20: (3 sc, 1 inc) repeat until the end of the round
Rnd21: (1 sc, 1 inc) repeat until the end of the round
R22: 1 dec in each stitch
Close the circle using a yarn needle and passing it through the 6 front strands that we have left. Pull the thread to close the circle.
Tops
Now put it on top and enjoy your precious
