What does amigurumi means?
The word Amigurumi comes from Japanese. The Japanese call handicrafts knitted with crochet and needle as Ami. The Japanese call the toys that are filled with objects such as fibers or cotton as Nuigurumi. The word Amigurumi is derived as a combination of these two words.

Materials:
Yarn: Alize Cotton Gold Hobby (50 g/165 m, 55% cotton, 45% acrylic) or YarnArt Jeans (50 g/160 m, 55% cotton, 45% acrylic)
Hook size: 2.0 mm
Black beads for eyes
Black/brown and white embroidery floss
Pink dry pastel crayon
Sewing needle and scissors
Fiberfill
Abbreviations:
R = row
mc = magic circle (magic ring)
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
inc = 2 sc in the next stitch
dec = single crochet 2 stitches together
F.o. = fasten off
(12) = number of stitches you should have at the end of the round/row
( )* 6 = repeat whatever is between the brackets the number of times stated
Legs and body
Legs (make 2)
With yellow/blue color:
R 1: 6 sc in mc (6)
R 2: (inc, 1 sc )*3 (9)
R 3-5: 9 sc (3 rows)
Stuff with fiberfill.
F.o.
Don’t cut the yarn when you will finish the second leg!
From second leg: 4 ch, join with the first leg.
Continue crocheting the body in the round:
R 6: 9 sc on the first leg, 4 sc in 4 ch, 9 sc on the second leg, 4 sc in 4 ch (opposite side) (26)

Change to sweater’s color:
Then alternate two colours to get stripes (change colour every 1 rows).

Assembly
Sew arms to the body on R 15.
Sew beads for eyes between R 9 and R 10.
Embroider eye brows with black floss.
Sew nose between R 10 and R 11. Embroider mouth with black floss between R 11 and R 14.
Embroider whites of the eyes with white floss.
Sew head to the body.
Sew ears to the head between R 2 and R 4.
Embroider straps for trousers.
Tint cheeks using dry pastel crayon.
