What does amigurumi means?
The word Amigurumi comes from Japanese. The Japanese call handicrafts knitted with crochet and needle as Ami. The Japanese call the toys that are filled with objects such as fibers or cotton as Nuigurumi. The word Amigurumi is derived as a combination of these two words.

5-7) 18 sc (18)
Finish work, cut the thread.
We knit the 4th leg (row 1-7), like the others, BUT WE DO NOT CUT THE THREAD !!!
8 row) Connect the leg you just tied to the other leg with
sbn. Now we knit 14 sc around the 2nd leg and then attach the 3rd leg.
We knit 14 sb around the 3rd leg, then we attach the 4th (last) leg with
using sbn. We knit 14 sb around the 4th leg and connect it with the 1st.
We knit 14
sbn around the 1st leg. (in the end, you should get 56 sbn). ATTENTION! A thread
cut, but do not close the work. We will come back here. We will now
work on the hole between the 4 legs.
1) we have 4 loops on each leg. Attach a thread to one of them,
preferably at the end. We knit 4 sc on this leg. Let’s go to the next leg and
we also knit 4 stb on it. Likewise for the other two. (in the end it should
get 16 sbn).
2) 16 sc (16)
3) (y) x 8 times (8)
4) (y) x 4 times (4)
Finish the work, cut the thread, hide the end of the thread inside the product.

Now we continue to knit BODY where we left off after joining
legs. We attach the thread.
9) (pr, 13 PRS) x 4 times (60)
10) (9 PRS, D) x 6 times (66)
11-13) 66 PRS (66)
14) (9 PRS, UB) x 6 times (60)
15-19) 60 PRS (60)
20) See if you are between 2 legs. If not, knit sbn,
stop at the center of two legs. Use a marker. This will be the beginning
next rows. We knit 24 sb, then we take the trunk and knit together 12
loops of the trunk and 12 loops of the body sbn (12). Then we knit 24 sbn on the remaining
body parts to the end of the row (until you reach the marker).
21) 24 sbn, then 24 sbn trunk (loops that were not tied before) and
then 24 sc (72)
22) (10 PRS, UB) x 6 times (66)
23-24) 66 PRS (66)
