I want to give you some informations about this pattern;

On Instagram I showed you this puppy crochet rattle and you told me you wanted the pattern, so here it is. As you can see, this time it took me less time to bring you another pattern to the blog and I hope things continue like this over the next few months. I also want to put on sale a payment pattern, take up old projects and much more, I will tell you more news.

As you can see, the ring I use is made of untreated wood, so in addition to being a rattle (it has a ball inside that sounds) it will also be an ideal teether for babies.

R2: 1 increase in each stitch on the round
Round 3: 1 sc, 1 increase (repeat until the end of the round)
Round 4: 2 sc, 1 increase (repeat until the end of the round)

Stuff the muzzle before sewing it to the head of our puppy crochet rattle

Eye patch
Use turquoise yarn
V1: Make a magic ring of 10 high points
R2: 1 increase in each treble crochet

Striped base (part that will go around the wooden ring)
Turquoise and pink striped ring
Make 10 chains with pink thread
H1: Begins with the second chain, 9 sc
H2: chain 1, sc 1 in the next 9 stitches
H3: Change to turquoise. 1 chain 1 sc in the next 9 stitches
H4: chain 1, sc 1 in the next 9 stitches
H5: Changes to pink. 1 chain. 1 bp. in the following 9 points
H6: chain 1, sc 1 in the next 9 stitches

Repeat rounds 3 – 6 until you have a total of 4 pink and 4 turquoise stripes.
Finish off leaving a long strand to later sew.

Important: Before sewing this piece to the ring, we are going to use fabric glue or hot silicone to glue it to the wooden ring. Take the wooden ring and spread a little glue or silicone on the outside. Attach the crochet piece and let it dry. Now sew it to the ring. So it will be fixed.
Sew the head to the base until it does not wobble. You may need to do a lot of stitching to get the head to sew properly onto the ring. I used a fine thread (the normal one for sewing garments) to give several rows of stitches and that it was sufficiently fixed.

Final details of the crochet rattle
Do not forget to use pins to fix all the parts before sewing them, this will ensure that everything is in the place you want.
Use felt to make the eyes and glue them to the head of the doggy crochet rattle. You will have to cut out 3 circles. The largest is white, then a smaller brown one and finally an even smaller white one (look at the photo)

Use finer brown (embroidery) thread for the muzzle details.

Use brown yarn (the same one you used for the ears) to give your crochet puppy expression by creating eyebrows.

Clever! You now have your finished puppy crochet rattle. It will be a wonderful gift for babies.
